Privacy Policy
Effective April 11, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how DOMU, Inc. ("DOMU," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you visit intelligenist.com and use the Intelligenist website, AI assistant, and related services (collectively, the "Services"). Intelligenist is a product of DOMU, Inc.
We are based in the United States and the Services are intended for users in the United States. If you access the Services from outside the U.S., you do so at your own initiative and are responsible for compliance with local laws.
Information we collect
We collect only the information needed to operate the Services and improve them. Specifically:
Information you provide directly. If you create an optional account on our AI assistant, we collect your email address and any profile information you choose to provide. If you submit a briefing request through our contact form, we collect the information you provide in that form (such as your name, employer, role, and email).
Information collected automatically. When you visit our website, we automatically collect limited technical information including your IP address, browser type and version, device type, operating system, referring page, pages visited, links clicked, time spent on pages, and the date and time of your visit. This is standard web analytics data.
Search and usage data. When you use the Intelligenist AI assistant, we log the queries you submit and the responses served. If you use the assistant without logging in, these logs are not tied to a personal identity. If you are logged into an optional account, these logs are associated with your account.
Cookies and similar technologies. We use cookies and similar technologies for analytics and to remember your preferences. See the Cookies section below for details.
We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information (such as health records, Social Security numbers, or financial account numbers) through the Services. Please do not submit protected health information (PHI) or other regulated data to the AI assistant. The Services are not designed as a HIPAA-compliant environment.
How we use information
- To operate, maintain, and provide the Services
- To respond to your inquiries, briefing requests, and support questions
- To understand how the Services are used and to improve them
- To detect, prevent, and address abuse, fraud, or security issues
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own direct marketing purposes.
Third parties we work with
We use a small number of third-party service providers to help us operate the Services. These providers only receive the information they need to perform their specific function for us:
- PostHog — product analytics and session insights. PostHog receives anonymous usage events, IP addresses, and device information.
- Google Forms — used to collect briefing requests from health plan partners. Information you submit on the briefing form is sent to Google for processing and stored in our Google Workspace.
- Google Fonts — used to serve web fonts. Google may receive your IP address when loading font files.
- Cloud hosting and content delivery providers — used to serve the website and back-end services. These providers may log request metadata (IP, timestamp, URL) for reliability and security.
We may also disclose information if required by law, subpoena, court order, or legal process, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of DOMU, our users, or others.
If DOMU is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of its assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to the commitments made in this Policy.
Data retention
We retain personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this Policy or as required by law. Analytics data is retained for up to 24 months. Account information is retained while your account is active and for a reasonable period after you close it. You may request deletion of your information at any time (see "Your choices" below).
Your choices and California privacy rights
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA) give you the following rights:
- Right to know — you may request information about the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the sources, the purposes, and the third parties we share with.
- Right to delete — you may request deletion of personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain exceptions.
- Right to correct — you may request correction of inaccurate personal information.
- Right to opt out of sale or sharing — we do not sell your personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. There is nothing to opt out of.
- Right to non-discrimination — we will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.
To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@domu.one with a description of your request. We will verify your identity before responding and will respond within the timelines required by applicable law.
Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies for analytics (via PostHog) and to remember your preferences, such as whether you have dismissed our cookie notice. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect the functionality of parts of the Services.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect the information we collect. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee the absolute security of your information.
Children
The Services are intended for professional users and are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.
Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Effective" date at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated through the Services or by email where appropriate.
